Director - Andrew McNeill
Andrew began work in the alcohol field as the Director of the local Alcohol Policy Advisory Service in the Midlands. He became the Industrial Officer of the National Council on Alcoholism, the pre cursor to Alcohol Concern. Andrew is one of the founder members of the Institute of Alcohol Studies, founded in 1981.

Research Manager – Rachel Seabrook
Rachel joined the Institute of Alcohol Studies in 2007. Prior to this, she was a senior lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, teaching research methods and statistics in the School of Social Sciences and Law. Her background is in Psychology, which she studied at Oxford University before completing a DPhil at Sussex University.

Policy and Research Officer - Ben Baumberg
Ben has been researching alcohol issues and speaking to the media about alcohol for the Institute of Alcohol Studies since 2004. Prior to this he worked on alcohol policy and other issues for various Members of Parliament at Westminster, England. He was orginally trained in Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University.

Economic Research Officer – Russell Bennetts
Russell conducts economic research related to the alcohol field, along with dealing with the media in related issues. Before joining IAS, he worked as a researcher for the Personal Social Services Research Unit (PSSRU) at the London School of Economics (LSE). Russell is an economics graduate from the LSE.
