Town centre management and Business Improvement Districts
Towns and city centres are undergoing a renaissance and becoming more active throughout the day and increasingly during the evening and at night. A key feature has been the growth of the evening economy between 5pm and 9pm and the night time economy after 9pm.

The Local Authorities Coordinators of regulatory Services (LACORS) provides advice and guidance to help support local authority regulatory and related services. It was set up in 1978 to coordinate the enforcement activities of trading standards. Since 1991, LACORS has also worked on food safety and is currently responsible for a range of other regulatory and related services
