Investment case of alcohol control policies

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) published a book entitled ‘Preventing Harmful Alcohol Use’, 19 May 2021. We spoke to the lead author about the investment case of control policies. We also spoke to Dr Sheila Gilheany and Eunan McKinney of Alcohol Action Ireland about the misrepresentation of a WHO report. Laura Mahon also joined us, to discuss the evidence so far around minimum unit pricing in Scotland.
